On 7th December 2018, I graduated with a PhD in Theology, Imagination and the Arts from the University of St Andrews, Scotland.
My doctoral research considered the role of fire in the contemporary social and theological imagination. Drawing on the observation and analysis of community fire practices in contemporary Britain, I argue that integrating the image of fire more fully into Christian practice can enhance Christian spiritual experience.
My thesis is entitled: Multivalence, Liminality, and the Theological Imagination: Contextualising the image of fire for contemporary Christian practice.
